This project is a 3D recreation of a KitchenAid blender, and was an assignment for school. We were learning to use Arnold materials and lighting in Maya to achieve photorealistic results. We were given product specs and reference photos to help guide the build. This was also a learning experience for smooth preview and crease tool respectively. We were given a base poly limit of 5000 tris. I played with both warm and cool lighting to get a feel for using Arnold lights to recreate photography scenarios.
